Dr. Fischborn, a native of Bogota, Colombia, was raised in and calls Florida her permanent home. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University. She then received her Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine in 2019 from Barry University, located in Miami Shores, Florida. During her time at Barry University, she participated in extensive medical research focused on wound care. Dr. Fischborn was surgically trained at Palmetto General Hospital, with a focus on foot and ankle trauma and elective procedures.
