Dr. Khan grew up in Chicago, in a vibrant, multi-cultural, working-class neighborhood. She emigrated from Pakistan as a toddler with her family to the United States. Dr. Khan recalls pizza, hamburgers, Halloween parties, and Easter egg hunts as fond memories that she could take for granted in a life that was new and awe-inspiring for her whole family. Dr. Khan enjoys long-distance running, racquetball, and bicycling as her preferred exercise choices.
Dr. Khan made the university circuit around Chicago. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Biology from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Science degree in neurobiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her podiatric medical degree from Scholl C...
Dr. Khan completed her fellowship in advanced reconstructive, limb salvage, and minimally invasive surgical techniques in Naples, Florida. After a year of fellowship in Naples, Florida, Dr. Khan returned to Florida and served our military veterans at the Orlando VA Medical Center. Dr. Khan is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Khan is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
She is excited to be in Jacksonville, FL, where she gets the best of all worlds, with unlimited authentic cuisine choices that are a staple of a big city and access to amazing Florida beaches. With the COVID-19 pandemic hopefully getting behind us, or even as it is ongoing, Dr. Khan is eager to assist our patients in getting back to safely enjoying a more social and active existence on their feet so that they can enjoy a healthier lifestyle!
