Matthew King, DPM

Dr. Matthew King is a fellowship-trained podiatric surgeon specializing in the treatment of the foot and ankle. His professional interests include Achilles tendonitis and repair, bunion correction, ankle and Lisfranc fracture fixation, total ankle replacement, foot and ankle arthritis treatment, sports injuries, minimally invasive surgery, and limb salvage. Dr. King earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC, and his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL. He returned to Wake Forest to complete surgical residency where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction. Dr. King has performed research on ankle joint replacement, bunion correction, and limb salvage. He has a special interest in minimally invasive bunion surgery. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. King is a Nashville native and loves practicing in his hometown. In his free time, he enjoys running, golfing, and playing music as well as spending time with his wife, their two young daughters, and their golden retriever.
