Dr. Steven Kissel received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Texas and Iowa State University, respectively. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM) from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago.

Dr. Kissel completed his residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA).
