Thomas Pignetti, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Pignetti was born and raised on Long Island, NY. After completing his undergraduate studies at Adelphi University, he earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of podiatric medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Catholic MedicalCenters of Brooklyn and Queens prior to moving to The Woodlands, TX in 1993.
He is board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Pignetti is also an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric...
Dr. Pignetti has been practicing in The Woodlands since 1993, where he has provided advanced, gentle, and effective techniques to relieve foot and ankle problems. He believes education is the key to successful outcomes and takes care to ensure that patients understand their recommended treatment plan. He particularly enjoys treating pediatric patients from young children through teens.
He is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Montgomery County and is an active member of The Woodlands’ community. As a member of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, Dr.Pignetti has served on the board of directors as Vice President of Business Opportunities, as well as Programs Team Leader, Annual Banquet Team Leader, and Proshow/Business Expo Team Leader.
He has been a supporter of Education for Tomorrow Alliance and has given presentations to local high school students, stressing the importance of self-discipline and continuing their education in order to have more opportunities for success in life. Dr. Pignetti has also been an advocate and supporter for the Pregnancy Assistance Center North, a local non-profit pregnancy medical clinic that offers confidential services for women and men but does not perform or refer clients for abortion services.
Dr. Pignetti and his wife live in The Woodlands and have two adult children. They are members of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where Dr. Pignetti has been active in Life Teen (high school youth ministry program), Worldwide Marriage Encounter, and the ACTS program. He enjoys singing and playing keyboard with the SALT Band at the 9 AM mass on the 2nd and 4thSundays of each month. He enjoys travel, music, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
