Wendy Winckelbach, DPM
Dr. Wendy Winckelbach grew up in the Greenwood area and is a graduate of Center Gove High School. She completed her undergraduate training at Indiana University with a degree in Chemistry.
She received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Chicago, Illinois in 2001. While a student, Dr. Winckelbach was awarded an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship in 1998. After receiving her DPM she completed a Post Graduate Surgical Residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana. She is board certified in foot surgery.

Dr. Wendy Winckelbach specializes in many types of Foot and Ankle surgeries with special interest in diabetic foot health and limb salvage. She has been committed to educating family practice residents of the Franciscan St. Francis Health and teaching surgical techniques to podiatric residents attending the Community Westview Hospital residency programs. Additionally, Dr. Winckelbach has lectured to physician groups at St. Francis Hospitals as well as the general public on diabetic foot health.
She is podiatry section chief at St. Francis Hospital. She has also served on the board of the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association and was president of the association in 2018. She was honored by the IPMA with the Meritorious Service Award in 2017.
She and her husband Kirk live with their three sons in Greenwood.
